General Regulations
These simple general regulations have been written down by Duststorm for all users to respect while posting messages while out of character; they are expected to be obeyed, unless the user wishes for his post to be deleted. Please do not copy these rules, as I have typed them up for LotF's use only.
1. Please try to supply us with at least five words per post. This does not apply to the games board, however.
2. Respect all users, not only moderators or administrators.
3. Do not spam; spam is highly against our regulations, and will be deleted without question.
4. Do not "flood the forum with posts", meaning you post repeatedly for stupid reasons, such as raising your post count. Only post if you wish to; we do not appreciate a whole list of posts made by one user, even though activity and participation is encouraged.
5. Remain active. Every so often we will have member activity checks; be on the look-out, as your account may be deleted if you lack activity and do not post in the activity checks.
6. When you first register, you have a week to post and a month to post your character's application; if you do not do those things within the said time limits, your account may be deleted or banned.
7. Do not ask to be on the staff team. Only I, Searcher, choose the moderators and administrators.
8. Do not "mini-mod" - that means, do not act like a moderator when you are not one. A gentle reminder of the regulations is fine, but we have people assigned to do that job; you are a member and it is not your responsibility.
